Kaffeverket
This place is the very definition of a hip cafe. It’s a great place to chill out at or even get some work done. There’s plenty of natural lighting and a few communal tables where you can hang out. There’s another room in the back with a fantastic view of the courtyard and is nice and quiet. You absolutely must take a fika break with a classic cinnamon and cardamom bun, which comes directly from the Bakery & Spice bakery that’s just down the street from the cafe.
Kafe Orion
Kafe Orion is known for its beautiful, sleek wood bar and stunning emerald green walls with bright yellow tiles. Kafe Orion serves up coffee deom Da Matteo beans that are roasted in Gotenberg. There are also plenty of little snack options including sandwiches, salads, and omelets.
Kafe Esaias
This place is known for being one of the best coffee shops in the whole city, serving up high quality coffee that is truly exceptional. The minimalistic space also features a lovely terrace on the pedestrian street the cafe is located on. The service here is also fantastic, the baristas will happily curate a cup of coffee that’s just right for you.
Cafe Saturnus
Cafe Saturnus is known for its huge cinnamon buns which are known as some of the best in town. Grab one along with a full breakfast, and of course, a great cup of coffee. The decor is whimsical and inspired by French design. There are plenty of baked good to choose from and a full breakfast and lunch menu as well.

This incredible space is not only a fantastic cafe, but it also features an art gallery and design store. You can find books, art, music, design, and food all in one place. You can spend a few hours here, easy and even end up spending half a day here without even noticing.
