This Jewish deli sells some of the most beloved deli classics and they all come in absolutely enormous portions. Don’t be fooled by the location at a Holiday Inn, this place is absolutely amazing. The dish names are totally on brand, like the “Go, Giants, Go!” which consists of two foot long hot dogs with a huge knish. Don’t be surprised if you have to wait to get in.
El Pollo Regio
Austin, Texas has become quite the foodie haven, but if you’re looking for seriously food Tex-Mex, El Pollo Regio is it. While it is no fancy affair, the food is ready in the blink of an eye, and it is absolutely delicious. Try the smoky roasted chicken that comes with Spanish rice and charro beans. The chicken is insanely tender. You can also wrap everything up in a soft taco if you like.
Capri Restaurant
If you ever find yourself in Boise, Idaho, then make sure to take yourself to Capri Restaurant. There’s a reason why it’s been open fo rover 60 years. You can enjoy breakfast served at all hours, and you can also try their famous biscuits and spuds. If you really want to go all out, spring for the loaded biscuits that come covered in bacon, cheddar, and chives. If you prefer sweet breakfasts, get one of their massive cinnamon rolls, which you will absolutely not regret.
Brinson’s Bar-B-Que
Located in Millen, Georgia, this nondescript place offers up some of the absolute best barbecue you’ll ever have in your life. They don’t take any shortcuts and cook their meat in the pit. It’s cut fresh in front of you to ensure that you’re getting the best possible experience. The barbecue is tender and juicy, and of course, deliciously smoky. It’s perfectly balanced with a sweet and tangy mustard sauce you’ll want to take home in a jar.
Andre’s Cajun Cracklins
Don’t be fooled by the exterior of Andre’s Cajun Cracklins. This place might look simple but the food here is seriously incredible. If you’re looking to try Cajun and Creole cuisine, head over to Erwinville, Louisiana where you’ll find Andre’s. Try the cooked pork, boudin balls, and of course, the chicken cracklins. With fast service and delicious food, it doesn’t get much better than this.
