John Meillon
He was Wally and he was Dundee’s screen partner. Meillon joined the team for the second Crocodile Dundee movie, but sadly that was the last he would do on any set. Meillon passed away in 1989 after suffering from cirrhosis in his liver. He will always be remembered for his brilliant work and the accolades it brought.
Ritchie Singer
Ritchie Singer didn’t just make a splash in Crocodile Dundee, he continued his acting career for years thereafter. You know him as ‘Con’, but after that role he took his acting skills to another 30-something projects. One of those roles was the TV show Crownies and even acted alongside David Gulpilil, co-star from the Crocodile Dundee series, in Charlie’s Country.
Mark Blum
Poor Mark Blum and his character, Richard. No matter what, he was always going to be disliked for being the sleazy editor that prevented Dundee and Sue from falling in love. Following the days of Crocodile Dundee, Blum is still raking in acting roles and recently did his 70th in the hit TV show The Blacklist.
Reginald VelJohnson
Even though VelJohnson had a small role in the original Crocodile Dundee, he still picked up his acting acumen and made his name big. He managed to play parts in Die Hard and Die Hard 2 as well as the hit show Family Matters. In total, he has appeared in 99 different projects.
David Franklin
This name will ring in your memory because you probably saw him in the science fiction TV series, Farscape, when he played Meeklo Braca. Perhaps you remember Brutus from Xena: Warrior Princess? Or maybe you’re a real Dundee fan, Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles to be exact.
David Gulpilil
David Gulpilil is an actor with some real talent, no-one can deny that. He was Neville Bell in Crocodile Dundee and later he took some big roles in movies like, The Proposition and Charlie’s Country. He also experienced some real drama at home, and even had the police knocking on his door after a violent altercation with his wife.
Ernie Dingo
Ernie Dingo played Charlie in Crocodile Dundee II, but we didn’t see him in the first movie. Despite being a talented actor, he has never made it to the Hollywood tier. Having said that, we can’t deny that he has become a hit in other places other than the States.
Rick Gonzalez
Being a successful actor means that you can take on different roles with ease. Rick Gonzalez is a good example of this, and we’ve seen this through the years. He was a gang banger in Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles, and he was Timo Cruz in Coach Carter. Now he’s a superhero vigilante character by the name of Rene Ramirez “Wild Dog” on the superhero drama series, Arrow.
Steve Rackman
Here’s a man who wasn’t just an actor, but a wrestler by the name of “the Brawler Crusher”. But perhaps we mostly remember him for when he kissed Paul Logan’s character in the original Crocodile Dundee film. Today he is doing what is probably most fitting for him – he is running a gym and works as a personal trainer.
Terry Gill
Even though Terry Gill only appeared in one of the Dundee movies, he made a lasting impression on all audiences. Before sadly passing away in February 2015 at the age of 75, Gill appeared in an incredible 71 films.
Gerry Skilton
G’day mate! Gerry Skilton played the hunky Nugget O’Cass in all three of the Crocodile Dundee films. Unfortunately for him, his acting career didn’t quite take off when it came to Hollywood and eventually he retired from acting in 2001. There’s speculation as to why he stopped acting, but most believe that Hollywood just stopped sending him auditions.
Jonathan Banks
Following the glory days of Crocodile Dundee, this star probably has the most success to claim. Big shows that can be linked to Jonathan Bank include, Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. His work on TV has turned him into one of the most sought-after stars today.
Paul Rodriguez
He was born in Mexico, but he was raised in Los Angeles. He is a comedian, an actor and a multi-talented entertainer. We’ve seen him Ali and Blood Work, but he’s always going to be Diego from the last of the three Crocodile Dundee films.
Jere Burns
When it comes to a ‘bad guy face’, you need not look any further than Jere Burns. He was Arnan Rothman in Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles. Since leaving the Dundee trilogy, he made some big moves in projects like The Muppets, From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, and the hit TV series Justified as Wynn Duffy.
Charles S. Dutton
As much as we’re talking about Crocodile Dundee here, playing Leroy Brown was only a part of Dutton’s acting career. He made an impression in other movies and televisions shows, and some of those are,
Rudy, Alien 3, or Bessie.
Aida Turturro
Even though she only had a small role in the third and final Crocodile Dundee film, Aida Turturro has made some great strides for herself. She is probably best known for her role as the sister of Tony Soprano in the brilliant hit show, The Sopranos. Or it could be that you know her as the honorable Judge Felicia Catano on Law & Order.
Stephen Root
You guessed it, the talented Stephen Root had an interesting first role as a DEA agent (Toilet) in Crocodile Dundee II. Following those days, the actor, comedian and voice actor has played some incredible roles including NewsRadio, Office Space, King of the Hill, and DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story, if we’re listing a few.
Caitlin Clarke
Caitlin Clarke played Simone in Crocodile Dundee, but it was a small role that didn’t make much of an impression. But for Clarke, she had already stolen our hearts when she was the fierce and beautiful Valerian in Dragonslayer in 1981. The sad news is that Clarke passed away from cancer at the age 52.
Hechter Ubarry
Hechter Ubarry realized his acting and singing abilities when he was a young boy living in New York. His acting skills showed when he played a drug king by the name of Rico in Crocodile Dundee II. His calling for Broadway took a hold of him and he still does live performances in his very own cabaret show which has been running since 2000.
Peter Faiman
He was the master behind the magic and the director of the original movie. He was awarded a number of honors in Australia, like becoming Member of the Order of Australia. Despite all of his recognition in Australia, he wouldn’t get himself another bug directing job again. Faiman has worked as a creative consultant for some TV shows, though.
Luis Guzmán
Since the Puerto Rican-American actor made his way from the set of the second Crocodile Dundee movie, he has starred in other successful productions, like CBS’s medical drama, Code Black. You might be trying to remember seeing him in the second Dundee movie, because I sure don’t.
Clare Carey
She did have her stint on the set of Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles, but her best roles were in episodic television, like Coach and So Little Time.
Michael Lombard
He was born in Brooklyn and maybe that can be seen in his performances in Guiding Light, Pet Sematary and The Thomas Crown Affair. For real fans of Crocodile Dundee, you’ll remember that Michael Lombard was Sam Charlton.
John Snyder
So what, John Snyder was not much more than a pimp in Crocodile Dundee. But taking a side-step from this role, Snyder appeared in a number of TV series and movies running through the years 1974 to 2004. He also lay claim to the part of Aaron Conor in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Christine Totos
To be completely honest, there’s not all too much known about actress Christine Totos. What we know her for, is her roles in Crocodile Dundee, The Custodian and The Young Wife back in 1984.
Anne Francine
Do you remember Anne Francine? She was an American actress and cabaret singer, mostly noted for her role as Flora Simpson Reilly, the villian in the series, Harper Valley PTA. When she played Fran in Crocodile Dundee, it became her last role. Sadly she passed away in 1999.
Anne Carlisle
Anne Carlisle has a great number of talents, and we’ll name a few of them right here. She is an American actress, acting teacher, performance artist, author and model. She had an interesting role in Crocodile Dundee as the transvestite, Gwendoline.
Irving Metzman
Did you know that Irving Metzman was actually born as Douglas Kahn? Which name do you think would serve him better in Hollywood? One of his best-known roles was in The Purple Rose of Cairo. But others include, War Games, and Crocodile Dundee.
Paul Hogan
There was a time when we all thought Paul Hogan was going to become a massive star in Hollywood. I mean, look at what the Crocodile Dundee trilogy did for him! But when a scandal which included an off-shore bank account, tax evasion and a couple of other unmentioned factors, the Australian star found himself heading towards retirement. His last notable appearance was as a guest on the TV show Open Slather.
Linda Kozlowski
Nobody would dare forget about the beautiful and very talented Sue Charlton… I mean, Linda Kozlowski, sorry. When she hit the screen with co-star Paul Hogan, we all had our eyes hooked on them – what chemistry! Unbelievably they got married, had a child together and stayed together for more than 10 years… but then they broke our hearts with their divorce. Linda played her final role in Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles.
