Yes, we all miss JAG terribly, but at least we got to enjoy creator Donald Bellisario’s incredible show for 10 whole seasons. Then came the spin-off NCIS, but we’re here to talk about JAG and our favorite characters like Mac and Harm. From 1995 until 2005, we got to watch David James Elliott, Catherine Bell, Tracey Needham and so many other stars on the show. Now, it’s time to reminisce and catch up with Catherine Bell and the rest of the JAG cast!
David James Elliott
Naturally, we need to start with the amazing David James Elliott. After playing Captain Harmon Rabb Jr., or better known as Harm, this star had no trouble finding work! Right after JAG, he acted in the Canadian TV movie called The Man Who Lost Himself. Guess who else was in the film? Oh, just his former JAG costar and wife, Nanci Chamber, but we’ll get to her. Anyway, Elliott also acted in the shows The Guard, CSI and Close To Home. Also, he was John Wayne in Trumbo.
Patrick Labyorteaux
Now, we need to catch you up on Captain Bud J Roberts, Jr., played by Patrick! Although, you probably haven’t seen much of Patrick Labyorteaux since JAG, he’s been very active in the entertainment industry. Turns out, he’s focused mostly on voice work for cartoons like, Spider-Man: The Animated Series. He and his wife, Tina Albanese, created and produced the Nick at Nite show called, See Dad. Luckily, he did revive the role of Bud for NCIS twice!
John M. Jackson
Aw, remember Rear Admiral or A.J. from JAG? Saying goodbye was hard, but then this star found his way onto the show, NCIS: Los Angeles. Maybe you’ve seen the recent film, Gifted. Jackson starred in the movie with Chris Evans and the hilarious Jenny Slate!
Karri Turner
Hey, Karri Turner isn’t just JAG‘s Lt. Harriet Sims. No, this star is also a traveling comedian! She’s performed for the US troops alongside comedians like Michael McDonald and Kathy Griffin. By 2012, Turner already finished 13 USO tours. Wow! As far as acting goes, Turner appeared on things like, the series Heroes and the film Hurricane in the Rose Garden.

Scott Lawrence
Luckily Commander Sturgis was one of the characters we got to also enjoy on NCIS after JAG. You probably have seen him on the big screen too. He played the crew chief for Avatar and then Maurice in the movie, The Social Network. Oh and we cannot forget to mention his roles in both Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Into Darkness.

Now, if you’re a big Kiefer Sutherland fan, then you definitely have seen Zoe McLellan alongside Sutherland in his latest show, Designated Survivor.
Randy Vasquez
Sadly, when JAG ended we also needed to say goodbye to Gunnery Sergeant Victor Galindez. Luckily, Randy Vasquez remained active in Hollywood since then. Vasquez has continued acting and also directed Perceptions, a comedy/drama film. Also, Randy Vasquez had a role in CSI: Miami. Naturally, most know him as Lou Escobar in the show Bosch.
Trevor Goddard
During JAG, Goddard was Mic or Lt. Commander Michael Brumby. As we reflect on his role in JAG, we sadly must commemorate the actor as well. Unfortunately, actor Trevor Goddard passed away from a drug overdose in 2003. His last acting credit was in the hit film, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl with Keira Knightley, Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom.
Steven Culp
Culp played the mysterious Clayton Webb on JAG. Afterwards you probably saw him in his various guest roles on shows such as, 24, The West Wing and NCIS. However, Steven Culp’s most notable role has been as Rex Van de Kamp on the hit series, Desperate Housewives. Tragically, Culp’s half sister and her family were brutally murdered in 2006. Just a month after the crime, they convicted the two men responsible.
Nanci Chambers
Ah, to the famous Nanci Chambers who played Lt. Loren Singer on JAG. Chambers and Elliott were dating for some time and then tied the knot in 1992. Michael Angelo Bellisario
Remember Midshipman Third Class Michael Roberts? Okay, well Mikey was played by Michael Angelo Bellisario. Yes, that name sounds very familiar. That’s because his father created JAG. So naturally, Michael played NCIS‘s lab assistant after JAG. In addition, he had a recurring role on Quantum Leap. If you know ABC’s Pretty Little Liars, the actress who plays Spencer is none other than Michael’s half sister, Troian Avery Bellisario. That’s one talented family.
Cindy Ambuehl
Playing Renee Peterson on JAG was not the end of Cindy Ambuehl. No, this actress continued to land roles afterwards. Perhaps, you saw Ambuehl on CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful. There’s something else, she’s married to her costar from the CBS show, actor Don Diamont. Also they have twin boys.

Hallee Hirsh
Alright, we get it…it’s pretty hard to remember that Hallee Hirsh played Mattie Grace Johnson for JAG since she’s much more famous for her post-JAG roles. Yes, that’s right, here we have ER‘s Rachel Greene. Clearly, JAG helped launch this amazingly, talented actress’ career.
W.K. Stratton
Unlike some of his former JAG costars, W.K. Stratton took things a bit slow after the show. Actually, he decided to settle down a bit and have a family. He’s married to Maureen Denise Lacoste. Once John DeMita was finished on JAG as Colonel Clifford Blakely, he shifted his focus. He continued to work in the entertainment industry, but mostly switched to voice work. You can hear him on Naruto, Dragon Ball Super and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. DeMita is also off the dating scene. Nowadays, this actor is happily married to the actress Julia Fletcher. Together, the couple has two kids.
Matt Sigloch
There was so much more to Sigloch’s work on JAG than playing Master Sergeant Tom Androvich. You probably didn’t know this, but he served as their Military Technical Advisor. John D’Aquino
Next up is JAG‘s Stuart Dunston. Since then, we have seen D’Aquino act on NCIS, Dexter and also Hannah Montana with Miley Cyrus. Maybe you’ve seen Disney’s Cory in the House with your kids and saw John D’Aquino playing President Richard Martinez. Recently, he was In Sanity, Florida‘s Harris Smith.
Terry O’Quinn
Maybe it slipped your mind that on JAG, Terry O’Quinn played Admiral Thomas Boone. Well, that’s also because he’s better known as Lost‘s John Locke. Not a Lost fan? How about when he was General Nicholas Alexander for The West Wing? Besides those iconic roles, he played Joe White on Hawaii Five-O. Also Terry played Howard Hargrave for the show, The Blacklist: Redemption.

So, he’s an accomplished actor, producer, writer and director now!
