Although handsome and charming, Jay Thomas’ character, Eddie Lebec, is bad news. Eddie and Carla enter a fraught and poisonous relationship over a couple of seasons of Cheers – which sees Carla go through a lot of heart ache. Eventually Carla falls pregnant and the love birds wed, only for Carla to discover that there’s another ‘Mrs. Lebec’.
