Legally Dead
A day before Joran is sentenced to Peruvian prison, Dave Holloway has Natalee Holloway pronounced legally dead. Alabama judge, Alan King, said Dave met all of the legal requirements to make the declaration. However Natalee’s mother, Beth, completely opposed the idea.

July 4, 2014 Joran marries the Peruvian woman, Leidy Figueroa. Their wedding was in the prison that Joran is currently being held in. Furthermore, Leidy is pregnant with Joran’s child, Dushy, and she gave birth to their daughter later in 2014. They had met while she was visiting a relative in the same prison.
