She also served as a judge on The Voice and has also dabbled with acting.

Nina Simone was a singer, songwriter, pianist, and activist. She is best known for her hit single “I Loves You, Porgy,” and she’s known for spanning over genres including classic, gospel, folk, blues, jazz, R&B, and also pop. She was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
