Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse was known for her expressive contraltro voice and her genre-bending music that blended soul, jazz, and R&B. Her album Back to Black, released in 2006, became one of the best selling albums in UK history and won her 5 Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Vocal Album. Sadly, she passed away at only 27 after succumbing to her substance abuse.
