The Wild Bunch is a 1969 Revisionist Western starring William Holden, Ernest Borgnine, Robert Ryan, Edmond O’Brien, Ben Johnson, and Warren Oates. The film tells the story of an outlaw gang on the Mexico-United States border adapting to the changing world of 1913. It was chosen for the National Film Registry in 1999 and was named the 6th best Western of all time by the American Film Institute.

It is often regarded as one of the best and most influential movies of all time and was called the greatest American Western by the American film institute. It was also included in the National Film Registry in 1989.
