He decided to learn how to play “Moonlight Sonata” by Beethoven on the piano, teaching himself how to play it all in his own. Talk about talent!

When Kobe first started playing in the NBA, his jersey number was 8. Later in his career, during the 2006-2007 season, he decided to change his jersey number to 24. He said that he wanted to signify a new chapter in his life now that he was older and wiser. When he retired from the NBA, he became the first player to have two jersey numbers retired for his on the same team.
