Forever A Laker
Kobe began and ended his NBA career with the L.A. Lakers, having played 20 seasons with them. Before that, Jerry West held the record for being the longest-playing Laker, having played for them for 14 years. The only player to have beaten his overall record is Dirk Nowitzki, who played on the Dallas Mavericks for 21 seasons.
His Signature Shoes
Kobe Bryant also ventured into many business opportunities, including a deal with Nike to release his own line of sneakers. Even though he personally preferred the high top style, he also released low top sneaker styles. In 2014, his shoe line brought in a whopping $105 million.
