Television dominated back in the 80s and 90s so it’s no surprise that both Al and Peggy Bundy loved the black box. Al spent most of his free time watching football whereas Peggy enjoyed watching Psycho Mom and The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Peggy Bundy’s character absolutely adored Oprah on the show. During one episode Peggy even got a job so she could afford to buy a VCR so she could tape the Oprah Show. She said Oprah was an inspiration and a role model.
