Matt proposed to Laura in May 2015. However, he had purchased the engagement ring, with Laura’s father’s blessing, two months prior to popping the question. He even planned his brother to be at the preschool to get everything on camera.

The couple was married in December 2016. The ceremony proved that true love really does exist. The song for their first dance was Elton John’s Can You Feel the Love Tonight, which of course was a reference to the lyrics from The Lion King that Matt used to recite to Laura when they were kids.
