Natalee Holloway was a TV film adaption which aired on the Lifetime Movie Network on April 2009. It was adapted from Beth Holloway’s own book “Loving Natalee.” 3.2 million people tuned in as the film depicted a scenario of what could have possibly happened in her final days.

The family’s desperate attempts to find out what happened to their daughter didn’t sit well with everyone. “They’re killing Aruba,” says Aruban businessman Charles Croes. “That girl, Natalee, I wish she’d stayed home. I hope she’s found alive there. Because no one would care. No one. The kid is just not worth all this trouble, this heartache. Is Natalee worth it? Is she?”
