The Imagination Library
Back in 1995, Dolly started the amazing book distribution project called “The Imagination Library”. She was inspired by her own father’s inability to read and write, to start a drive that donates books to children under the age of 5, with the intention of getting them to fall in love with books and reading. It didn’t take long for this initiative to spread across America, to Canada, the U.K. and recently to Australia.

Disguises, Disguises
There was a period in Dolly’s life where she felt the need to disguise herself when she stepped out in public. Typical of most celebrities, she just wanted to walk around without anyone bothering her, and while we can’t understand what that’s like, we can certainly respect it. However Dolly’s attempts to conceal her identity with different kinds of wigs and makeup just didn’t work.
