Sparks Were Flying
Although the man obviously didn’t have a huge amount of money to pay for the date, Tim noted that the looks they were giving each other were “amazing.” The sparks were flying, and it seemed as though money wasn’t an issue. Although he gave his date the option of having a starter, she decided to keep the costs as low as possible. They both searched down the menu, and the roast beef main course caught both of their eyes. They had chosen what they wanted without fuss.

Because it was a fine dining restaurant, the waiter soon turned up at the table next door to Tim. He asked the couple if they wanted to peruse the wine list, and the man on the date eagerly accepted. He wanted his date to have the most enjoyable time, and he wanted to spoil her no matter the cost. Unfortunately, the wine list was just as overpriced as the food menu, and Tim believes that he heard the man gulp before passing it to his date. He once again put the decision in her hands.
